The 2 days and 1 night format offers an opportunity to see both cultural and natural beauties in a short time, making it an ideal program for weekend getaways.
Accommodation is usually provided in traditional Ottoman mansions in Safranbolu on a bed and breakfast basis: Guests will stay in restored historical mansions of Safranbolu, experiencing the architecture and atmosphere of the period firsthand. Due to the bed and breakfast concept, guests start the day with a breakfast consisting of local delicacies; other meals can be assessed according to the guests' preferences as extras.
The tour price generally includes transportation, guiding, mandatory travel insurance, and a portion of the entrance fees to specified museums/sightseeing sites; extra meals and personal expenses are not included: The package price covers transportation that picks you up from the departure point and brings you back, professional guiding services, and the legally required travel insurance. However, lunch/dinner, beverages, personal shopping, and the fees for activities indicated as "extra" in the program are the responsibility of the participants.
Since there may be extensive walking in Safranbolu and Amasra, it is advisable to have comfortable walking shoes, season-appropriate clothing, and a raincoat/umbrella: Due to the historical streets, slopes, and cobblestone paths, participants may be on their feet for extended periods during the day and engage in plenty of walking. Because weather conditions can vary, especially in spring and autumn, it's important to have a light raincoat or a foldable umbrella for a comfortable and uninterrupted trip.
In Amasra, optional activities such as a boat tour, fish menu lunch/dinner, and shopping for local souvenirs are generally at an extra cost: Participants can join a boat tour at an extra fee to see the coves and coastal beauties of the Black Sea, and enjoy seafood in restaurants that offer fresh fish menus. Additionally, they can buy local souvenirs such as Amasra salad, wooden handicrafts, and magnets according to their budget.
Since the tour departure times are usually early in the morning, participants are requested to be ready at the departure point at least 15-20 minutes beforehand: Early departures maximize daylight for visiting more sites.
